When he was 12, the Bones Brigade skated his backyard mini ramp and stayed at his house in Australia. Yesterday, he became the newest skater on Powell, and is featured on the cover of SLAM magazine and has an interview.


“Chad’s skating has always been an inspiration to me growing up, I remember watching the New Deal video “7 year glitch” over and over thinking, “Damn, that bow-legged Aussie has so much board control”. Haha. It wasn’t until I finally met him that I realized he’s the full professional package. He’s super motivated, kind spirited, generous, extremely humble and most importantly, genuinely loves skateboarding. You see a lot of pro’s fall off their game as they mature, but Chad’s one of the few that has kept his skills progressing and is skating the best he ever has. So as a friend and now team mate, I’m beyond stoked to have him join up with the Powell family”. - Jordan Hoffart

Cuando el tenia 12 , la Bones Brigade patino en su miniramp que tenia en el jardincillo , y se quedaron en su casa en Australia,. Ayer , el se convirtió en el nuevo rider de Powell , y será portada de la revista Slam con una entrevista.

Esta super motivado, con un espiritu amable, generoso, y que genuinamente ama el patin . Tu ves a muchos pro caerse del juego tal como maduran, pero Chad es uno de esos pocos que ha mantenido sus habilidades creciendo y creciendo y que cada vez patina mejor. Pues como amigo y ahora compañero de equipo, yo estoy mas que contento de que esté en la familia Powell, " dijo Jordan Hoffart

It had been ten years since Jordan Hoffart unsuccesfully tried to varial heel the Carlsbad gap, and after he stopped by TWS last week and told us he wanted to go back and get it—and that he had it in three tries—we of course said, “Lets do this!” So on Saturday, right before San Diego got bombarded with another weekend of rain, we met up at Carlsbad, pulled out the camera, put $100 on the line, and he went for it. Did he make it? How many tries did it take him? Here’s how it went down…P.S. Prepare yourself for our Carlsbad gap am contest on April 3rd. Hace ya diez años desde que Jordan Hoffart sn exito intento hacerse un varial heelflip en el famoso Gap de Carlsbad, y entonces paró , pero TWS la pasada semana nos dijo que quería ir de nuevo , y que se lo haria en tres intentos, nosotros sin duda dijimos, "Hagamoslo" , así que el sabado , sacamos la camara, pusimos 100 dolares en el saco , y fuimos a por ello.
