Chaz Ortiz is a Illinois native and can't imagine calling anywhere else home. Growing up in Carpentersville, Chaz stills lives in the greater Chicago area but has become a favorite in throughout the world when it comes to what he does best -- skateboarding. As one of the youngest skaters competing in every marquee contest around, Chaz always ranks high and leaves lasting impressions with all his competitors.
Since the early age of six, Chaz has been skating regularly and began to enter local contests as early as eight. Growing up skating his local skatepark everyday to hone his skills and learn new tricks, Chaz recalls when his park was destroyed. Fortunately, he was, although young, already established as an elite skateboarder and able to build his own training facility close to home laying the ground for a long progressive career in skating.

Chaz Ortiz es un nativo de Illinois y no puede imaginarse otro sitio al que le llame casa. Crecido en Carpentersville , Chaz todavía vive en el gran Chicago , pero se ha convertido en conocido a través del mundo.. por culpa de lo que hace mejor-- skateboarding . Desde que tenía seis años , Chaz ha estado patinado , con regularidad , y empezó a entrar en eventos locales con la temprana edad de Ocho años . Creció patinando en su skatepark local cada dia para aumentar sus habilidades y aprender nuevos trucos. Chaz recuerda cuando su skatepark fue destruido. Afortunadamente , aunque fuera joven , ya tuvo la posibilidad de montar su propio skatepark para poder hacer progresar su carrera en el skate.
