THE CAPE CRUSADE / CONVERSE CONS / CAPE TOWN

In December 2014 Converse CONS European team riders Remy Taveira, David Stenstrom and Jerome Campbell travelled to Cape Town, South Africa. Alongside them was photographer Nils Svensson who came to document a week of skateboarding and exploration on the Cape peninsula, at the southern tip of the African continent.

CONS Project Cape Town - as part of the CONS Project series, they came to meet and skate with the locals at DIY spots, a local skatepark and a uniquely constructed CONS obstacle where photography and video workshops took place.

En diciembre del año 2014, El equipo Europeo de Converse Cons, los riders, Remy Taveira, David Stenstrom y Jerome Campbell viajaron a Cape Town, en Sudáfrica. Conjuntamente con el fotógrafo Nils Svensson que se pasó a documentar esta semana de exploración por la península del Cabo, en el sur del continente Africano.
El proyecto, Cons Cape Town como parte de una serie de Converse, donde se encuentran con skaters locales y spots hechos por ellos mismo, así como un skatepark local y un modulo hecho exclusivamente por los de Cons para fotografiar y filmar en un taller que se hizo.

KENNY ANDERSON / KA3 / CONVERSE / EUROPEAN LAUNCH

For the European Cons KA3 launch in Berlin we built 3 skate spots that have inspired Kenny Anderson's skateboarding. Kenny alongside some members of the European Cons team Remy Taveira, Paul Grund, Danny Sommerfeld, Daniel Pannemann, Jerome Campbell, Harry Lintell, Gregoire Cuadrado, Eduard De Paz and Roman Gonzales had a fun session wear testing the new Cons KA3.

Para el lanzamiento de las Cons KA3 en Berlin se construyeron unas reproducciones de unos spots que han inspirado el skate de Kenny Anderson. Kenny conjuntamente con algunos skaters del equipo europeo de Converse, Remy Taveira, Paul Grund, Danny Sommerfield, Daniel Pannemann, Jerome Campbell, Harry Lintell, Gregoire Cuadrado, Eduard De Paz y Roman Gonzales tuvieron una buena sesión para probar las nuevas 
zapas.

RVCA / RAIN OR SHINE / UK TOUR

The RVCA Rain or Shine UK tour takes the team to skate London through the Tube and also encountering on the way some double decker buses crushing some of our team riders boards and trucks. Freckles band was with us to rock all the events on the way. Tour was with Josh Harmony, Kevin ‘Spanky’ Long, Jeremy Leabres, Didrik Galasso, Octavio Barrera, Charles Collet, Barney Page and Remy Taveira.

El tour de los de RVCA , en el Reino Unido , haga sol o llueva, , donde se fueron a patinar por Londres, por el metro y donde se encontraron de camino con los buses de dos plantas, cargandose algunas de las tablas de los riders de la marca. La banda de Freckies estuvo al lado para darle salsa al camino , el tour tuvo la presencia de Josh Harmony, Kevin ‘Spanky’ Long, Jeremy Leabres, Didrik Galasso, Octavio Barrera, Charles Collet, Barney Page y Remy Taveira.

Remy Taveira hails from the suburbs of Paris, France but nowadays can be rarely found there as he is constantly hitting the road. Currently 22 years old, our young man got himself a Canon AE-1 and shoots lot's of photos now. A tendency for the analog black and white comfort us of his appreciation of the past just like when we watch him skate. He can do anything old or new but always with style and speed. It is just great when you do not know what somebody is about to do next, right?

Remy Taveira procede de los suburbios de Paris, Francia, pero ultimamente poco lo podrás encontrar por ahí ya que él está constantemente en la carretera. Con 22 años este joven posee una Canon AE-1 y está todo el rato haciendo fotos. Una  concesión con este blanco y negro del video que nos trae con esta aprecicación de colores del pasado. El puede hacer cualquier cosa antigua o nueva, pero siempre con estilo y velocidad. Es genial cuando no sabes lo que alguien va a hacer después , verdad?¿
