DVS / SKATE AND CREATE / 2015

The DVS team travels to Detroit’s in search of semi-safe abandoned buildings, the kind of off the radar locations that have become ideal breeding grounds for DIY skate spots. With brooms, a drill, and some concrete, they set about converting the nine floors of the fire damaged Fisher Plant 21 into a skateable spot with a surreal ghostly backdrop.

El equipo DVS viaja a Detroit en busca de un local semi-seguro y abandonado, el tipo de lugares perfectos para hacer un spot DIY,. Con un poco de cemento, taladro y una escoba, se propusieron convertir los nueve pisos del edificio destrozado por el fuego, el Fisher Plant21 en un lugar patinable con un entorno surreal y fantasmagórico.

TOREY PUDWILL / NYC SESSIONS

After competing in the Red Bull Manny Mania Pro event, Torey Pudwill spent an extra week in New York City with his Red Bull teammates Joey Brezinski, Zered Bassett, Ron Deily and Luis Tolentino to hang out and film a few street clips. The crew visited some of NYC’s best skate spots, many of which Torey got to session for the first time. It was exactly what he needed after being injured for most of 2012.

Después de Participar en el evento de Manny Mania de Red BUll , Torey pasó una semana mas en NUeva York , con sus compañeros de Red Bull , Joey Brezinski, Zered Bassett , Ron Deily y Luis Tolentino , pasa grabar un poco de clips de calle . El grupo visitó algunos de los mejores spots de skate de NYC , algunos de los cuales Torey pisaba por primera vez . Eso era lo que necesitaba después de haber estado lesionado la gran mayoria del 2012 .

BURN / STEVE BERRA / AD,FILM

Steve Berra (The Berrics) joins Mexican skaters Jesus Gonzalez, Eder Martinez, Mario Saenz, Angel Santiago and American Luis Tolentino for this Burn Ignite film, shot on location in Mexico City.

'Ride' meditates on skaters' unique relationship to the street and their use of what's at hand to remake the world around them.

This film was created alongside two short-form documentaries, one featuring Jess Kimura and the all girl hardcore snowboarding film collective Peep Show, the other is a portrait that celebrates the electric lyrics and gritty beat artistry of rapper/poet Julius Wright, aka Lyrical God.
