The best thing about Robbys part is his ability to skate every spot. One of the best things about my video is how these are all new and fresh spots. Most of which are much much harder to skate than they look on film. Robby could go out of town and just land things first or second try on the gnarliest spot that he has never seen before. All he really needed was an apple.
Although I think hes back on his game, the injury he had really set him back. Before he got hurt, I chose the Wolfmother song with the idea that Robby would land the ender trick he wanted (switch 360 flip the big 3 block set). Also, I was told that this was what Michael Tang wanted his song to be for his part in the Fourduos Video. Interesting. But as I said, Robby got hurt, and we attempted to go back and film it right before the premiere deadline. After a 6 hour day trip to Tyler and a handful of solid sticks, the trick was no cigar and Robby left empty handed. Due to this, I feel that Robbys part did not reach its full potential, nor match up with the song as well as I had originally planned. Think if he would have landed it; it would have given the part a completely different overall look.
In the end, I had to pick an ender out of clips he had already landed. I chose bigflip because I have never seen him work so hard for any other trick. He wanted to try a trick he had never ever done before and he landed it on a gap that is really hard to skate, very much so harder than the video shows. In all honesty, I would have picked the switch tre over the same gap but I filmed it like pure shit. I was in the end, unhappy with the ender of his part, and the ender of my video.
However, the video part as a whole was great. It got last part after all. Rob handled some mean spots that required all different kinds of skating. Robby is a beast. Beasts get last part.
