THE HISTORY OF PLAN B

In 1991 Mike Ternasky assembled one of the most dominant teams in the history of the sport and produced what many consider to be the best skate video of all time, Questionable. In 1994, after Mike's tragic death in car accident the future of the team appeared to be over. 

Then in 2005, founding team members Danny Way and Colin McKay relaunched the brand with their own version of the super team and a dream to continue the legacy of Plan B. 

 

These are, and always have been, the athletes changing the game and upping the ante with their riding, and 'Legacy. The History of Plan B Skateboarding' tells their story from inception to today. Featuring new interviews with original team riders, current team riders and skate footage spanning the entire timeline to tell the complete story of the most well regarded team in skateboarding.

 

Check back every Monday for the newest installment of 'Legacy. The History of Plan B Skateboarding.' Each episode explores a unique storyline from past and present team riders as well as other game changers from the skate industry.

Every trick from Paul's switch back Smith grind on the ledge to Ryan's Cab back nose blunt on the flat bar were shot with a high-speed Phantom camera. The ability to choose the series of events comes thanks to new Interlude technology. Nike SB celebrated 10 years in skateboarding by bringing their entire team to NYC. After touring the city’s historic skate spots with Lance Mountain, the dose crew hit the LES skatepark where Alex Olson, Eric Koston, Sean Malto, Paul Rodriguez, Theotis Beasley, Stefan Janoski, Brian Anderson, Dylan Witkin, Todd Jordan and Gino Iannucci ripped a private demo of epic proportions.
